All work and no play makes life a bit boring.  We’re here working hard each day to bring you the best cases on the planet for your iPhone, but when that whistle blows you can be sure it’s time to cut loose and do the other things we love. Many of us met through the motorcycle industry but we also have deep roots in snowboarding, cycling, fitness, and skateboarding – it’s a big part of who we are, it’s our Element and it influences our choices in design, who we work with, and our outlook on life.

What better way to make the iPhone a part of your Element than by incorporating something that helps to define who you are. Our Director of Global Sales, Billy Ruff, is a skateboard legend having been a top ranked pro in the early to mid ’80′s by winning many of the freestyle vert contests he entered. Billy was also instrumental in the development of the sport by inventing a trick called “The Unit” that was the precursor to the modern 540.

Skateboard graphics are considered “destructible” art and many of the deck graphics from the early days are legendary and bring back fond memories for many of us.  “I had that deck when I was 10 yrs old,” or, “I remember when Bowman ran that BB graphic.”

This case line is about the legendary riders and their iconic deck graphics that evoke many memories.

Starting with the Element Case Skate line, we’ve partnered with skate legends and Powell Peralta® to bring the graphics, style, and soul of skateboarding to your iPhone.

Coming in January 2012 will be a collection of skate themed iPhone cases and back plates featuring the graphics from Powell Peralta and notable pros like Brad Bowman, Steve Caballero, Andy MacDonald, Kevin Staab, our own Billy Ruff and more!

My element is music. Plain and simple. Every day has a groove.
